Uk’otoa Release Date Revealed

Uk’otoa is coming! On May 27th, 2021, Uk’otoa will be available for purchase at Critical Role shops (US, UK, CA, and AU) and Darrington Press Guild stores. It will be available soon after at other friendly local game stores in the US. We highly encourage you to preorder through your local hobby shops! 

Uk’otoa is a board game of thrilling nautical adventure, set in Critical Role’s world of Exandria. In it, you play sailors on a ship being ravaged by Uk’otoa, the all-seeing Great Leviathan of the sea. As the ship grows smaller and smaller from Uk’otoa’s thrashing, you’ll run, push, and sacrifice other sailors to win! Learn more about this semi-cooperative board game on our Uk’otoa page.

The Uk’otoa Sea Shanty is written by Critical Role’s Taliesin Jaffe and Dani Carr, and the full lyrics come on the back of every rulebook! Artwork for this video was by Uk’otoa’s talented artist Hannah Friederichs. The shanty singers include Ashley Johnson, Sam Riegel, Taliesin Jaffe, and Steve Failows. Chris Willmott provided additional sound design and music.
