Heart of the Cards originally opened in 2002 in Kerrville, TX.
From the time Heart of the Cards opened under its original owner, I was a regular who played about every card game I could get my hands on.
Through my many years of playing games there I have made many lifelong friends and eventually I aspired to own my own game store.
In 2018 I got the opportunity of a lifetime when the original owner (Miguel) sold the shop to me (Paul) and my partner (Sean) which fostered another wonderful friendship.
Since our acquisition of the shop, we've been working diligently to serve our local gaming community, offer sanctioned events, and create a fun/safe place to make new friends.
When you come to Heart of the Cards, you are more than just another customer to us. You are a member of our local gaming community and the Heart of the Cards family.
